A compilation of the currently-canon Plesiosaurs in the known-world region of

Perissodactyls of the Houze Prairie (at least within the known world). A lot of Hipparionins, one Equus species, a Rhino and a giant Chalicothere. All species are creations of
@talesofkaimere.bsky.social
for the fictional world of
#Kaimere
, as seen in today’s episode documenting its horses.

Happy Chinese New Year! As we enter the Year of the Horse, we meet the equids of Kaimere. There are familiar horses in the known world, but in the realms beyond, many are so strange they could hardly be recognized without close inspection. Link:

Found an additional graphic that gets even more of these quotes together. I've kept "I hate myself, I hate clover, and I hate bees" pinned above my desk since I first started studying evolutionary biology as an undergraduate. So relatable to get extremely frustrated with your study system.

The greatest diversity of horses in Kaimere can be found in the equatorial rainforests of western Kairul, far beyond the known world. Most of these horses are quite small, between 20 and 80 kilograms.

Figured I'd do this separately from my intro post, but I made this piece of an uktan, a giant megaraptoran made by the wonderful
@talesofkaimere.bsky.social
for his setting of Kaimere. I've always loved the uktan, so I figured it'd be nice to draw. I'm pretty happy with this one.

Chapter IV of the Fai Zhemi is finally complete! Will air tomorrow at 10am EST, basically my usual time but on Wednesday instead of Tuesday. I technically did not lie to my girlfriend when I assured her this would be shorter than chapter III, but... only by 3 minutes evidently💀

I am sorry to report I have to postpone the Fable of Fai Zhemi by a week. The series will arrive in four weekly chapters starting the 9th. I'm almost done with the first chapter, but I'd have to cut corners to get the others to the original schedule, and I'd rather it be as written.
