A collection of “Tasteful Nudi’s” (part 1 of 4) Nudibranchs are a type of sea slug - most of the 3000+ species share a few key traits - they riotously colored, slow, small, and have only one defense - chemical. All shot in my first month of Bali in Sept2025 - lots more where this came from!

Greenland sharks grow less than 1cm per year, reach sexual maturity at 150 years old and are the slowest sharks in the world. These deep-sea creatures live to at least 250 years, making them the longest-lived vertebrates on Earth. #DeepSeaWonders

The sleep patterns of jellyfish and sea anemones share similarities with those of humans, according to research published in Nature Communications. The findings support the hypothesis that sleep evolved across a range of species to protect against DNA damage. 🧪
