Surpised but pleased we weren’t canx,our proximity to the sea means we weren’t frozen,however at 0840hrs it snowed…a lot ❄️⛄️ Snowingham #Parkrun was bitterly cold 🥶 after the first 1/2 mile I enjoyed it.The aim today was just to finish safely, the last 1/2 mile was tricky underfoot.Happy just to run🏃‍♀️

Seems I was somewhat keen 🤣 I got a very low number & TRT arrived as I did! I was determined to arrive relaxed, park, register then sit & eat my porridge 🥣 & hydrate while listening to my 🎶 It’s flipping cold & windy but dry. I felt like I was the only one awake as I left home just before 0700 hrs - as dawn broke on NYD the sky was stunning - pinks & reds (yes, I know the saying). As I reached the NDR on traffic free roads I stopped to grab these looking across to Norwich airport. #HappyNewYear

This evening I spent a lovely hour or so with friends catching up and pottering around Cley hunting out the advent windows. So much effort has gone into them all. Armed with maps, a torch 🔦 & our little guard dog 🐕 we somehow managed not to get run over. 😂🧵 1/3

On 23rd June I finally laced up & began Couch to 10K again.In Dec 2023 I fell & really hurt myself,I struggled to overcome the fear. I’ve run 3 times most weeks & in all weathers.
