Azina laid her second egg around 8:45 this morning. Here it is a couple of minutes later, sill wet and looking brighter than the first one. 🥚🥚 #eggwatch

Azina laid her first egg last night at 10:41pm! So on 2nd March again, but 8 hours later than last year. She then had a good rest. 🥚 #eggwatch

No egg yet but it can't be too far. Azina is currently sitting in the box again and has been sitting in there or near for most of the day. There were 6 courtship displays in the box today, including one at 2:25am!!! Never seen this before. Full moon approaching and clear night?

Azina has started to get broody and to spend a bit more time inside the nest box. She's there currently with a piece of Pigeon Tom brought her around 5pm and she hasn't bothered eating or taking away. Last year's first egg was on 2nd March, which is Monday. Is she on course to repeat an early egg?

I almost didn't go to Peregrine Watch today, because of the rain. But I'm glad I did. First I saw them mate on the Ark. Then Tom tried to get Azina back to the hospital. He called. Not budging. He took food to the ledge. Still not budging...

Another part of courtship is food offerings. This morning Tom brought and gave Azina some food. It may be the Pigeon she'd caught earlier but it's the thought that counts ;) She eagerly took it!

The Peregrines' ledge was cleaned today (a great job as always by the Industrial Abseiling guys). Tom and Azina didn't return until late afternoon but then had a courtship display in the box. I guess the work got their seal of approval 😊 Clip: youtu.be/z8MMplzSiXU

I was just entering Margravine Cemetery this morning when I heard Gull calls, lifted my head and spotted a Gull mobbing a Peregrine with prey! Mad dash for my camera in my bag and I just managed to capture it as the Gull peeled off and Azina landed on the ledge. Nerves of steel! #LondonBirds

Within a few minutes of being released Tom was on the ledge and a minute later he was diving after a Pigeon. Go Tom!

Tom's back! And it didn't take long before he was reunited with Azina and they visited the nest box 😊
