Still no news of ZNT. But things are progressing between Azina and Odin. For the first time today he's joined her in the box for a courtship display. Admittedly it's only at the entrance but it's a start.

No news of ZNT today. Some of us looked in the area she was last in but if she can fly she really could be anywhere. To give an idea of where she was seen, I've taken shots from the zoom camera and marked it with an arrow. She then flew to the right.

ZNT update: She’d actually flown off last night, over the railway tracks, which is why we couldn’t find her. I will put more notices in the area tomorrow, but she could have gone anywhere… She must be rather hungry by now, unless Azina managed to feed her before she left.

This was ZNT last night. I still haven’t found her. I suspect she has been rescued but calls to local vets and rescues have proved unsuccessful so far. People are looking for her locally.

I have had a report of ZNT on Hammersmith Grove! Looking for her now but we can’t find her at the moment.

I haven't been able to find ZNT this morning. And I've looked in a lot of places. I'm going to keep on looking but you can help if you are at the hospital by looking at the lower roofs and on the balconies around the building.

ZNT had a good day over the ledge then on the East side until she lost her footing while walking. She struggled to land. Then Odin attacked her 3 times and we lost her from view in the quadrant below the ledge. We haven’t been able to find her since.

ZNT fledged at 5:19 this morning. A strong deliberate flight. I managed to find her on the roof on the other side from the ledge a bit after.

FledgeWatch Day 5 Still waiting... It was a hot day. She sat on the wall for a lot of the morning and stayed out of view of the watchers for a lot of the afternoon. She looks ready at times then thinks back on it.

FledgeWatch Day 4 We waited. She slept. She flapped. She didn't fledge. She got plenty of food, not like the previous day...

FledgeWatch day 3 ZNT still hasn't fledged. Azina didn't bring food until very late in the day, she was starving! Or at least that's what it sounded like from the ground. She's done a lot of jumps between the wall and the box in the last two days. This is good training.

FledgeWatch day 2 ZNT hasn’t fledged yet. She’s been doing some flapping, some while jumping, and is looking close. The ‘parents’ have been surprisingly absent though Azina has been dropping food from time to time.

Day 39 Another relatively quiet day for ZNT with a lot of sleeping this morning. She slept overnight in the same spot as the previous nights and is settled there again now. She's done a lot of flapping and preening and has lost even more down.

Day 38 A relaxed day for ZNT, with two feeds from Azina, both taken on the wall. Apart from this morning when she slept in the box, she's been mostly on the wall near the nest box. She slept there last night, and has settled for the night there now.

Day 37 Azina brought another Parakeet this evening, it took them 45 minutes to finish it.

Day 36 ZNT is 5 weeks old. She had a relatively quiet day. She slept on the ledge then spent most of the morning in and around the nestbox. Early afternoon she jumped on the side of the ledge and barely left it, being fed there by Azina twice, once pigeon, once parakeet.

Her reflection? An insect or spider? This is the first time I see a Peregrine jump at the camera!!!

Odin arrived right at the end of Peregrine Watch tonight. He’d eaten all the pies it looks like!

The Fledge Notices are up! I will start #FledgeWatch on Wednesday. I am basing it on ZNT fledging around the same time as Zig last year, which would be on Friday. But anything can happen! Any help welcome as usual.

First wing flaps on the wall (and so far only ones). Look how she's holding onto the wall with her claw when flapping.

Day 35 ZNT spent the night on the ledge, some of it with Mum, then spent most of the day inside the nest box with some short forays outside. She jumped back on the wall shortly after 8pm and returned to her position by the wall, presumably to roost there again overnight.

Day 34 Today ZNT got to taste something new: Moorhen! That's all Azina has been bringing her all day. She left it with ZNT to feed herself initially but has fed her afterwards.

Day 33 The chick spent the night on the wall until 2:47 am then the day on the ledge. She hasn't been back to the nest box since leaving it at 4:40 pm yesterday. Azina joined ZNT for part of the night, until the chick asked her to be brooded (or so it looked like).

Day 32 Big day for the chick as she got ringed and did her first jumps onto the wall.

The chick was ringed this morning. A very feisty, massive female, weighing 1,160g! Meet ZNT 😊

Day 31 Today there was a bit of rain. The chick is no true chick of Tom, it doesn't mind the rain 😂 (actually none of his chicks has ever disliked the rain, he was pretty unique in that respect).
