Azina today. She's been perching on her usual spots of recently, i.e. the ledge, the 12th floor (last shot), the perches on the East side. She had a good afternoon meal and this morning she cast a mahoosive pellet.

Apologies for the long silence. The youngsters left about three weeks ago. Yesterday people found Tom on the ground in the cemetery, unable to fly. He was put in a carrier (first shot, still wet) and I took it home (second and third shots). 1/2

Zig (first shot) and Zag (second shot) on the ledge earlier today. I've noticed that Zag's cere has started to turn yellow, while Zig's is still grey, even though she's the oldest.

Today my day started with Zig and Zag on the crane and finished with Zig and Zag on the crane 😉 They're still around and doing well, though we don't see both of them every day on Peregrine Watch any more.

Someone (Zag) had prey envy it seems... but his sister wasn't going to let him have hers that easily!

Update on Azina after she visited the nest box this morning. This is my first close look at her foot since my last post on it. It does look better. Watch until the end, this could have ended badly... But the youngsters miss few occasions of bumping off their parents! Clip: youtu.be/vzMOO-FwSHw

Two days ago the youngsters entered the nest box for play fighting then Zig tried to attack the camera! (more likely something in the spider web...). Doing so she revealed one of the eggs. Clip: youtu.be/XnDtdgtDIbE

Azina has been injured since Sunday evening. It's her right foot. You can see in this clip from this morning that it's getting better, she was keeping it up and not putting any wieght on it on Monday morning. Clip: youtu.be/HVwdqNACM3I

We 'witnessed' our first food pass last night. The young were on the crane, left, disappeared behind trees, reappeared with Azina and Zag had a Parakeet in his talons! He continued on and landed successfully on one of the tower blocks (Parsons). Very well done! He then ate most of it 😊

Apologies for the silence of the past few days, I have family visiting. But I have been keeping an eye out and I have just spotted the youngsters on the ledge. Zig was watching Zag eating. Happy seven weeks birthday to Zag (first shot)! 🎂

So far still so good 😊 I still haven't seen a food pass, I thought Azina was going to this evening, and both juveniles went chasing after her but she held onto the prey. But Chick 2/Zag flew from the ledge to the North Wing with a piece of Parakeet.

Tonight I watched some of the best adult-youngster play in the air I have seen in a while, between Tom and his daughter. He was a bit fast and seemed a bit brutal at times but also managed to slow down a bit, and she mostly kept up with him.

It was very blustery today and Chick 1/Zig appeared reluctant to fly for most of the day. When she did she was fine though. Chick 2/Zag flew a bit more but was messing up a few of his landings. This wind was tough for youngsters who are only just starting to fly but it's good practice! 1/3
