Two historic children's 'election dresses', have been restored and are on display at Ickworth Estate until the 2 Nov. Worn by Marjorie and Phyllis Hervey, daughters of Frederick Hervey during his 1906 general election campaign, the silk dresses feature hand-painted motifs reflecting his manifesto.

Meet Foula! A little Shetland calf hand-raised by the team at Wimpole Estate after a tough start in life and she's now thriving - living in a paddock with four cheeky Bagot goat kids. As a pedigree Shetland, she’ll remain at Home Farm, playing an important role in protecting this rare native breed.

This bank holiday, Shaw's Corner have pulled some strings to display a rare puppet of George Bernard Shaw. Created for Shaw's final work in 1949, 'Shaw vs Shavs', the puppet will go on display alongside replicas used a in 2024 film by Damian Farrell, which will also be shown in the gardens.
