The PNW Tabletop Game Market was amazing! Sold out of Flip Stack Burger Shack within 1.5 hours & Grunt Work was selling like hotcakes as well! Saw many designers sell out. Incredibly fulfilling experience. The ~40lb bag filled with games was light enough for my son to carry by the end of the night.

It just kept going nonstop for the full 3 hours! A truly exceptional debut of indie tabletop @ PAXWest! This needs to stay! It was too good not to! Highly recommend these games! Connor has been playtesting these and they are a lot of fun. That's the Spirit in particular is a very unique design where there's a hidden traitor but nobody is sure who it is.

a good summary of my evening

Working on new encounter card templates (top row) to match the new character sheet. The text and art is nonsense for now - but hopefully the text and art is big enough to see. 🫠

One of the things I’ve realized in years (somehow, years?) of listening to folks talk about their work, is that the thing people don’t realize is how much time it takes — not just in workflow, but in all the hours (accrued over months, years, decades) that it took to hone & refine those skills. There's a TON of great folks represented and great game ideas. I could possibly be more excited about this year than last. I got to play Florafiora @emilyhancock.bsky.social earlier this year in Seattle and had a great time. For those of you who like storytelling, I recommend it.
