Canada's squad knew how to play a gold medal game against Team USA, and stepped up/adjusted their game accordingly. USA was designed for the breadth of the tournament, but didn't live up to their previously dominant play. They DID have enough of that experience/leadership to ultimately succeed.

The US has been so jumpy and chaotic and I'm not sure this shot of adrenaline helps that here. They HAVE to be smarter and more careful with the puck. Not stopping and thinking about it, but just doing the stuff that comes most naturally. One turnover is the end of the game.

Have to say I'm SHOCKED Britta Curl just did something dirty and took a bad penalty in a key moment for her team.

Best part of the game was Hilary Knight eating an applesauce pouch on the bench.

I want urgency but not chaos from the US. I feel like they're being a little too quick to throw a bad shot towards the net (but often not actually on net) and then they're losing board battles. US is giving the puck away too easily

The way I've had to tell everyone that I absolutely an not able to be excited about this possibility/game or believe the US has it under control I can't imagine just being to enjoy this tournament without all the baggage

Watching the USA Canada game again…when the male announcer tries to bring up a kicking motion on Simms’ goal, AJ reiterates that they’re only reviewing goal tender interference. I know she is so sick of that man.

We’ve seen USA hockey players take matters into their own hands when coaching staff sucked. Canada didn’t even have any fight in them during that game. Troy needs to go. (And maybe bring some college kids next time.)
