Well I would never have guessed (thank you Claude!) that MicroPython's UART txbuf defaults to 256 bytes, which explains the oddly specific cap Upped it to 4096 and I can send the entire payload in one go!

I can send some data (about 4.5 kb) to a server in 256 byte chunks (for reasons) and I'm trying to figure out how to best reassemble the image on the other side. (It's very Wonkavision!) Options include: - POST to endpoint in chunks - MQTT - FTP (maybe)

I don't really know web tech that well so I'm open to suggestions and recommendations: I'm thinking that I'd like my site to be a PWA and it should avoid a centralized database. Users should own their data and it should sync/replicate to the user's other devices.

I'm interested in using the concept of a user's PDS as a data store for a web app. Users would sign in with their PDS as a kind of "bring your own storage". Similar to "sign in with Dropbox" but you own your data, or similar to remotestorage.io
