Found Pep’s use of Foden and Cherki recently to be very interesting. Feels like he’s prioritizing goals and athleticism over technique and ‘pausa’. To me this is about accepting the changes in the league and the transitional nature of this season with a new squad. I expect ‘pausa’ returns 26/27.

A few instances of the ball over the top from our cbs vs Wolves. These 2 were excellent. It’s something we’ve not seen much recently and I think the set up on Saturday with Marmoush and Semenyo high but playing in the channels is the main reason we saw more of it. The angles lend themselves to it.

Imagine going back to the late 90's and telling our younger selves that 25 years later we'd be demanding refunds for away CL games having won 17 trophies over a ten year period including 4 titles in a row, a treble, and a 100 point season. It is utterly absurd what we are now.
