Absolutely mad stat after tonight. City have now won as many PL games this season (18) as Arsenal. Cannae believe that, given how bad we’ve been. Only 6pts behind!

Been very critical of late. But Bernardo was brilliant tonight. Rolled back the years. Quality on the ball. Helped set the tempo, dropping deep. And so good in his duels and OOP.

So, so good from Doku. Initial touch is poor. But the acceleration to charge past Disasi. The touch into the box. And then the trivela assist. TOP. Game-breaking quality.

Kova / Gündo / Bernardo / KDB need to bring mad intensity and ball-winning levels today. Otherwise it’s curtains. Villa’s midfield is arguably the most well-rounded in the PL atm. Kamara, Onana, Tielemans. With Ramsey/Rogers (x2 super athletic ball-carriers) out wide. Eeek.
