Well I think I might have reached the age where I either need fancy magnifying glasses and clamps to hold pieces or I need to move from 1:72 scale up to 1:48. And yes I know I should have painted some bits before assembly but my 8 month old cat won’t let me rest for a moment.

It could be a Christmas miracle but I’ve known my luck for more than a lifetime. An email from the National Lottery for Christmas morning which will be better unchecked to keep the excitement of ‘just maybe’ than the reality of winning £10.

I looked at a friends X account the other day and decided to see who I knew that was still on that platform, shocked to see so many friends and colleagues still there. Hedging their bets I suppose but surely if you haven't left by now it must say something about you.

"My, my, here come the Fuzz." Timothy Dalton as supermarket manager Simon Skinner in the 2007 comedy film Hot Fuzz. What happens to this character at the end of the film always has me in stitches. As much as I like Shaun of the Dead I think Hot Fuzz is on a par with it. Post-It Note art.

"I never liked a girl well enough to give her twelve sharp knives." The family Christmas films continue with our viewing of the classic Bill Murray film Scrooged. Here's a poster I worked up based on a watercolour painting I created back in 2017. Still happy with my likeness of Murray in this one.

"Mr Scrooge. I presume?… Meep Meep Meep Meep Meep Meep?" I always get more in the mood for Christmas a week or so before the event than on the actual day. I suppose the build up and organising of things is something I enjoy. Either way I like my traditions and the Muppets are one of those.

I can't seem to go a day without a run in of some kind with the public. Today I was on foot and it involved a driver and when I remonstrated with them the passenger in the car gave me such a rollicking without even waiting to hear what my grievance was that I'm still reeling.
