Dandy is snuggling, but also ignoring me. I left to go watch my niece run Cross Country earlier and she was not happy I went to the outside during unapproved hours.

Dandy has found an effective way of keeping me from moving. She’s laying in my hair.

Some super exciting #bookmail yesterday. The newly expanded version of Man, F*ck This House by @thebrianasman.bsky.social ! Not to be all hipster, but I’ve been a fan of Brian’s work for a long time and it’s awesome to see him get the recognition and success he deserves.

On the rare occasion where Dandy doesn’t greet me at her Post of Greetings, she’ll ask to come up at the door. When she does this she “flys” to Dandyland. This is what it looks like.

Spooky Season Reads: A Thread I’m going to try and post horror recommendations through the month. I believe they’ll take the form of author spotlights, giving a general breakdown of an author’s style and a good starting point for reading their work.

The man in the blue in this picture was my grandfather. This was taken at a local Veteran’s Day celebration. He is being honored for his part in freeing the prisoners from a concentration camp. He took a bullet in Germany. I grew up hearing his stories.
