Most days I feel like I have a pretty normal desk job, but then today I get told to spend the day filling sandbags and reinforcing the pillboxes outside work and I remember that I actually am in the military and it isn't all some elaborate joke

Today's gone so slowly and I've had so little to do 😮‍💨 (I'm ignoring all my important tasks and thinking about leaving early to go nap)

New boots I treated myself to a few months ago have started squeaking VERY loudly and I can't figure out why or how to fix it 😭

It's my second week in and I don't think I'm ever going to get used to working Friday afternoons, like this is my naptime and you're making me send emails??

We couldn't land cause of the weather so spent two hours flying there and back for no reason, now we have to try again tomorrow 🙃 the novelty has very quickly worn off

Can't tell if I'm on a downer today or just tired but either way I'm getting cosy in bed at eight pm and nobody's gonna stop me

Had someone in to do a little job on the house, and they've done such a barely (read: below) adequate job but I just don't have the energy to tell them it's crap and to fix it

Work laptop updated to windows 11 today and I'm feeling very Jen Barber with it, almost nothing is where it's supposed to be and the few things that are don't work 😪

No Sunday scaries here cause I booked myself for a windows upgrade that'll wipe my laptop out for the entire day tomorrow 😌 (with any luck it'll brick itself until the next time I can get to the office)

Had a very lovely weekend with friends but I'm absolutely exhausted now, don't wanna go to bed too early though since it's the last night off before work starts again 🤧
