The Welsh Marches when not shrouded in mist. Some of the superb buildings and the church in the black and white village of Weobley when the Red Lion still existed as a pub. Today Weobley in praised as 'Hamnet' Country and so much visited, even it it wasn't before .

Gnarled, twisted and old - it looks more like autumn, but this is winter sunshine on the Hollies Nature Reserve at the northern end of the Stiperstones. This is one of the oldest holly groves in Europe, with around 200 trees that were planted about 400 years ago. #Shropshire
