I wish more modern pixel art games utilized hue shifting for the colors as opposed to monotone shading which feels so much more pervasive. To illustrate the point I took this screenshot of Seiken Densetsu 3 and removed all the hue shifting to make all the elements shaded using the same gradients.

The bonus of having a large L-shaped desk is extra cat parking that isn’t between me and my monitors+keyboard. She hops up on the desk right side ,pauses and looks at me to see if ‘is it ok?’, then walks across to rest on the left side after pausing in front of me for pets. Several times a day :)

You know how sometimes old batteries don't fully charge and drain really fast? My social battery is doing that. I feel like no matter how much time I take for myself, I come back and drop to 10% in an hour. -_-
