Really we all should root for a Knicks-Sixers playoff series every year because it’s one of the few matchups where the teams commute back and forth via chartered Amtrak trains instead of chartered flights. Tons of C02 emissions saved (Sixers boarding train pics from 2024)

Final: Sixers hold on for a 109-100 win and will advance to face the Knicks in the second round. It's the first time the Sixers have beaten the Celtics in the playoffs since 1982. They had lost the previous six series against the Celtics, including 3 in the Joel Embiid era.

This is correct. But it also misses the point. Normal humans find this hard to fathom but billionaires *like* losses. They *need* losses. Losses provide ownership/control/power/entertainment while offsetting income and reducing taxes. This isn’t about the Washington Post losing money.
