There were a few hundred people protesting the ICE actions in California today. Most probably lived in the neighborhood that had been raided by armed, uniformed men who looked like soldiers and not police. The idea that the response to this 2,000 National Guard is fucking insane.

NOW: NYPD officers randomly charged into the crowd and tackled a protester. Three or so cops began dogpiling him, earlier he was just standing next to me. His condition appears to be severe as he reports he can’t feel his head nor his legs. Cops may have broken his knee.

New Yorkers also ganged up on ICE. As well as citizens in other areas in the nation, in addition to California, who have had enough of ICE in their towns.

The correct response to state violence is more protest, more people. Make it clear that a free people cannot and will not be oppressed.

Last night ICE hit Chinatown. They pepper bombed civilians while the country was watching LAPD fire rubber bullets and tear gas downtown.
