Immense skill issue to not have found this immediately obvious in 2016

I don't care why you stand up. Stand up for immigrants, LGBTQ/Black/Brown, the right to choose your own books, for oil execs to choose not to extract Venezuelan oil, the right to have legitimate science information, or standing up for an independent Fed keeping a stable economy. Just stand up.

I looked at Facebook today. What a mistake. Do people no longer care about the Constitution? Do the ends justify the means? Is that what we have collectively decided? Have we decided that rules and laws no longer matter? How can people not see how that turns out?

*sigh* - it's exhausting listening to the grandiose bragging and lying and bullying. Is the World Economic Forum an example of what we have to listen to? Promises that never occur and yet are believed, ideologies that have been shown not to work, narcissism unleashed as facts.

I had a conversation with someone I disagree with. They don't like DEI policies. I don't like the assumption that because someone benefits from DEI means they arent the most qualified. The belief that someone got a job when not qualified is absurd. Have the conversations. And enjoy this cute pic.

It's going to be a while before I can come out of my bubble. I want to keep hoping that as people learn about what is actually happening, maybe finally the maga movement will start to subside. I want to believe that there will be consequences to leaders' acceptance of white christian nationalism.
