My pet peeve is when people round down a book by a POC or LGBTQ author instead of rounding up if it's a number plus .5 (3.5 for example). One because it's mathematically correct to round up not down, and two because these authors are often judged more harshly and have to endure things like book bans

Another idea is a “book that shuts the fuck up,” where the author, alive or dead, is not turned into worthless content slurry for some dickhead CEO to make more money. The book sits atop the large language bank that is only the book and nobody converses with shit, you just fucking read it.

I love the stage that happens before the writing starts: the daydreaming, the thoughtful pacing, the jotted notes, the long walks imagining stories that aren't on paper yet, the endless possibilities.
