I’m travelling to the US in Feb for my book launch, AuthorCon, and to see fam. I’m worried. Last year someone reported me to the gov for wanting its destruction. Authorities concluded it was someone unhinged but still. They knew I’d be a target as a Latina. Being a citizen doesn’t matter

Considering the current climate, I wonder if any big publishers would take on Santa Muerte’s Children or Diablo Ranch. But isn’t the purpose of art to express what can’t always be said? Books can scream when we can’t.
