Just a man trying every day to be a better man.
Little choices we make every day have big impacts on others. We are stronger when we look out for each other. We are greater together.

this is an act of unspeakable violence. it benefits no one, it doesnāt move a number on a balance sheet. it only guarantees that every one of these incarcerated transgender people will be tortured.

RIP TikTok. The ultimate example of the olds not getting it. It is especially ironic that we're freaking out about a foreign owned social network when we're letting untrustworthy figures straight through the door over here

So I'm Zillow-browsing for fun, and I happened across a $42,000,000 ranch... and its main selling point is literally "We took this land from the Indians in a battle." Who the fuck buys this and also what the fuck?

In 1922 Alfred Stieglitz made a series of photographs of cloudy skies, calling them Equivalents because they matched an emotion or mood he was feeling. This is my Equivalent for today.

Tim Walz Defends Queer And Trans Youth At Length In Interview With Glennon Doyle
The interview comes a day after a strong Harris response to a transgender question during a Fox News interview, signaling that the ticket will not abandon transgender rights in response to ads.

Had a little buddy join me for lunch today. He kept trying to drown himself in my Dr Pepper, so I gave him some of his own. Sharing is caring, after all. Always nice to make a new friend.

The year is 2025. Kamala Harris is president. You have $200 in your bank account. When you deposit an additional $99,999,800 Kamala will begin to tax your unrealized capital gains. Your fist clenches. The communists have won.

IDK, but I think little kids having to be evacuated from their schools because the former president and his VP pick are inciting anti-immigrant violence should be the lead story for every major news outlet.

I saw my first cybertruck this morning. My darlings, I laughed so hard I almost choked on my own spit. How is it UGLIER in person? No matter what, at least I'm safe in the knowledge that I didn't shell out $80,000 to tell the world I'm a shitbag. My god.

If you donāt want to be described as a threat to US democracy, donāt attempt a coup, call for the termination of the Constitution, vow to be a dictator, and insist the law shouldnāt apply to you. Accurately describing all that as a threat to democracy isnāt doing anything wrong.

This is really important. Academic editors donāt have to let cruelty go through to authors. Which doesnāt mean limiting genuine informed criticism. But most of the stories you hear about horrible peer reviews should have been stopped.

I'm sorry, but if the billionaire wants a security perimeter greater than 500 yards at his own damn property, then he can pay for it. He was never in any danger and it is not the obligation of taxpayers to protect a private golf club from reputational damage due to GOP gun policies.
