Third (but *not* last)
#SCOTUS
ruling is in Landor. For the usual 6-3 majority (noting a theme, here?), Justice Gorsuch makes it *much* harder for plaintiffs to sue under any federal statute enacted under the Spending Clause. Another quietly *major* ruling:

Don't be fooled by the fact that none of today's 5
#SCOTUS
rulings were "big" ones. Four of them split the Court along its usual 6-3 ideological linesâone of which guts accountability for human rights abuses; one that makes it harder to enforce Spending Clause statutes; and one that's bad for LPRs.

Today the Court only issued a decision in case number 4: Blanche v. Lau. A 6-3 decision declares that green card holders returning from trips abroad may be deemed "applicants for admission" in some situations, despite their permanent resident status, via a rapid decision by a frontline CBP official.

Every "centrist" believes political views are a great big bell curve with the overwhelming majority of people near them, but that's just not true. The number of people truly in "the middle" is vanishingly smallâthe real middle is "incoherent mixture of views"âand courting them is a guaranteed loser.

LNG is one of the dumbest ways to make energy ever invented. Frack -> feeder -> pipeline -> terminal -> liquify -> put on ship -> de-liquify -> terminal -> pipelines -> plant. Every single step generates waste and leaks. Or you could just put up solar and wind where the energy is needed.
