Looking at portfolios to find some covers for the next few months. Not going well. So much slop. When I finally manage to avoid it, everything is so dark and shadowy. Color and light and detail appear to be gone from the world. (I may need to start doing this in shorter bursts.)

Lil ink and digital Vampire lady for Halloween

Been thinking about this book I had when I was just a lil guy. I think it featured the art & process of a bunch of anime/manga-esque artists. One in particular used alcohol ink and dropped alcohol on it to make beautiful, textured, glowy colors. Anyone know what I'm talking about? I want to find it.
