I love Call of Cthulhu and I'm happy that life is permitting me to play it more. Eldritch madness, ho!

I like to think, in the Cthulhu Mythos, that the Hound of Tindalos act as the universe's antibodies against time travel. Time travel is more than possible in the setting, but reality doesn't like being broken in that way. So the Hounds are how it corrects for inevitable time-shenanigans

Today, I'm editing a Call of Cthulhu scenario for a client. I'm cross-refrencing rulebooks, using google maps to measure distances, and typing up a storm. In short; I'm in my happy place. I feel like a fish in water, doing exactly what I was meant to do.

Hey #daggerheart folks! Who here is playing/has played non-trad fantasy campaign frame? I'm talking things like Motherboard/Colossus of the Drylands. I'm super excited for more science fantasy settings and more settings inspired by other historical periods besides vague medieval Europe

Another great Daggerheart session! I believe I have managed to crack the problem of making a single Adversary a true solo challenge. One phase changing boss Adversary and an Environment lead to two PC Death Moves - 1 went Blaze of Glory 😮 & the other Risked it All (successfully). Tense but fun.

I got to run social combat in my #daggerheart campaign and my players loved it! An imposter was passing himself off as an oricsh king, and after a full real-world hour of catching him in contradiction and questioning his sudden decision to go to war, he was exposed as a changling!

I wrapped up a game of #daggerheart today, and I've got another session tomorrow (two seperate campaigns I'm running). I'm in my happy place, getting consistent games going again

Preppting for a #daggerheart game tomorrow and I'm hoping that we get more Social enemies in Hope & Fear. Social combat is definitely the part of the game that I'm most interested in expanding on #ttrpg #roleplay #game #tabletopsky

One thing I like about visiting family im North Ontario; the gentle creeping horror of knowing the woods are only ever a few minutes drive/walk in any direction. You're constantly, quietly, surrounded on each side by primordial nature. Stray too far and you're theirs once more.

if you're in TTRPGs and wanna make games, here's my advice: prototype little mechanical doohickies! Try and make a small, concrete system that does something and then test it to see if it does the thing!

I'm really excited by this premise! Give this project a look! We can always use more adversary stat blocks and rules for giving a villain broader narrative impact is such a clever idea

I don't know what it is about #daggerheart but I have run so many chase encounters. I've always loved chases, and the different ways systems try to represent them mechanically, but the countdown system makes it so easy to track
