Did you know; One way a person effectively abuses another person is by interrupting, talking over & interjecting during phone calls you have with family, friends, bosses, etc? They even do this when setting doctor appointments, making reservations & streaming live content. It's intentional.

Know what the best rules of writing are? Write, and for what it's worth, don't throw it away or delete it. Give it some time to mature & come back to it when you, too, have matured.

Sometimes fiction tells truths that facts cannot. It was true of Steinbeck's THE GRAPES OF WRATH, and it's true of Larwence Wright's t heartfelt novel of the days leading up to the Hamas attack on Israel in 2023. THE HUMAN SCALE is suspenseful, hard to put down, even harder to forget.

Today I found beauty in finding my copy of 'On Writing' by @stephenking.bsky.social and I genuinely just can't stop smiling. He inspired me to write & all of my (now adult) kids have loved his books since they were teens. So, thanks Mr. King. My copy is 25 years young. Here's to many more years.

Coming off of Wegovy / Semaglutide "cold turkey" after a year & from max dose: I'm constantly hungry. Like severe hunger pains even an hour after I eat. I have "food noise" when triggered, leading to cravings at weird times. Inflammation, heart palpitations, sleep apnea & insomnia are also back. 🔽

8.0 talk makes me wish that in the next expansion the WoL gets a little nerfed. There's not much reason (imo, keyword here, my opinion) for them to be so strong after the events of EW and a running theme with the FF franchise is "you can't, and shouldn't, carry all burdens on your own."
