Before Arielle was est. 2012 in Guild Wars 2, the bulk of my OCs were all brunettes or dark-haired with mystic eye colors. I didn't think anything of it until I ran into a big bad mercenary group that I wanted to make a new character for and figured... a villain that could pass as a hero. [cont.]>>

She's loud, pack-oriented (a social butterfly), incredibly stubborn/independent . . .the main concern would be the 'strong prey drive' - her tendency to agitate or pick on those much smaller than she is (BUT... only if she knows they can take it or fend for themselves). ... Like the Siberian Husky.

this applies to rp, and also to standalone writing: let your character lose. it's fine to have a character who is powerful- you'll never catch me coming down on anyone for writing a Mary Sue type. but it's interesting (and fun!) to see how your character reacts to failure, sometimes!

Quoting again for the really important one: Your characters are not people. They are tools. They are devices to be manipulated to tell a story—nothing more and nothing less. Treat them as such.
