To be honest just the principle of how Limited Run Games basically said they're doing "preservation" just by making physical copies of digital games already felt shady on its own right. I just don't believe doing physical copies of games is preservation. It's deeper than that.

September's nearly over! Time to scream over my doing of the nothings!

There's many annoying things about life, but one thing that pisses me off is discovering a PC shortcut to turn on a feature that's sure to help someone, but I don't need it, and now I don't know how to turn it off and all I can think of typing is "help my arrows move cursor".

Body must stay warm but the head must stay cool. I have my hand brushed against a heater while a fan is always pointed at me. I'm annoyed I could have one of my best ideas waking up, but by the time I've fully woken up I can no longer clearly remember.

Difficulty sleeping again. I've advised turning on the heating so I don't stay in hibernation, but I just get told that I "should be warm enough in bed already". Easy for you to say, your bedroom's like 1°C warmer than mine.

It'll be worth it.

I usually hold off shaving for a few months, but I caved into the urge a few days ago. I'm fine, not shaving everywhere, I'm not super flexible, nor do I have a good light/mirror setup, but I get really annoyed when I miss a patch or two.

Alien: Romulus (2024) is the first time in ages I've seen a film on release, and this was great. I'm still quite behind on movies, Alien is a franchise I haven't gotten around to watching. But Romulus is really fucking good. Definitely watch it on a big screen and shit yourself in the picture hall.
