Finally got the front porch sanded, cleaned, stained, and sealed. The gray paint was lead paint. Which made sanding and cleaning a whole lot more "fun" 🤪 full coveralls, respirators, and more how fun! I was going to finally start the deck. But now I'm thinking of just resting after this project 😮‍💨

Attempting to make sweet sticky rice. I don't have a steamer or cheesecloth, so boiling water, sieve, and the overnight soaked rice is wrapped in clean unbleached muslin. I hope it turns out.
