Based on a series of conversations last week, I'm surprised at how many people don't realize the extent of the damage that the current US administration is causing globally. Of course we are all primarily concerned with issues in front of us but this mess will take years to undo around the world.

Found a way forward in this story. The bleakness of the world is written got to me, but I’m in a place to push through to the hope now. Hopeful climate fiction is hard because *gestures to everything.

I'd really encourage African writers (this is for SFFH writers because that's my field but I think generally it applies) to have rate cards. How much would you charge to guest edit an anthology? To be an editor-at-large? To facilitate a class? (what would you teach? Do you have a syllabus?) etc
