I wrote this comic 2 years ago. I was terrified when I wrote it but had hope it wouldn't come to pass and would be a reminder of how bad things got before we pulled back. It not only has, it has gotten even worse. This is absolutely terrifying and will destroy lives if passed.

This is non-fiction but lands as visceral (as per author's point) social horror. Only it's entirely real. And that some, even many, won't understand, intuit, or feel any sense of the horror at all, will only see cause to celebrate and wonder what the big deal is, is part of the horror itself.

Neil's research is on how understanding and reading comics (or sequential imagery) is a cognitive skill and process not unlike learning and reading a language.
