My "Cake made out of bees" is probably "Totems of the Yonder" which I have a definite idea of how to refine professionally but it's very debatable whether a procedurally generated rogue-lite Metroidvania with a 'campaign' made of multiple runs would actually be "market"-good even if it were quality.

Trying to avoid genre conventions is like saying "chocolate is uninspired, I made a cake out of bees. Sure it won't appeal to the -OW- masses but I don't want to -OW- sell out and make commercialized slop"

I kind of agree with the abstract point here, and as a “LLMs can’t really do most of this work” person I’m not really concerned. But I do think it’s more complex: the most LLM-friendly devs are advocating for having “agents” write the code for you and then you edit it. But I like craft!
