In peak NHS mode today as I prescribed a patient a medicine which was appropriate, in NICE guidelines & costs the NHS ~£6 for the week-long course required. Because it is not “in the formulary” I have spent ~£150 of dr time discussing with pharmacy, filling in forms & finding a consultant to sign.

I am so tired of people who provide training/teaching to doctors assuming we all come from middle/upper class supportive families, never had any trouble at school, have had no traumatic experiences and are in excellent health. All you do is exclude a group of drs who likely already feel different.
