I'm a bit sad that Rune Factory Frontier didn't make it, esp since it's an absolute Wii exclusive. Also Little King's Story was underappreciated. (The Vita game is substantially different, and the later PC port is not well reviewed).

i never played Little King's Story but i was reading about it and the 'sequel' it was supposed to have that ended up actually just being a really fucked up awful remake of the first one. crying bc the wiki itself is like 'the other game's story is all a nightmare so it never happened so don't worry'

12. A Game Everyone Should Play Little King's Story is still peak. PC version is still rough, so emulate it if need be, but I love this game so fucking much everyone should play it.

You ever just suddenly remember games from your childhood that you're convinced are a fever dream/only you have ever played? what the fuck even was Little King's Story man?

It was such a ride playing this game, in both good and frustrating ways (although who knows, maybe I'm a secret masochist). Defo check this out for fans of Undertale, Moon and Little Kings Story.

I think Chibi-Robo PiA, Tingle's Balloon Trip of Love, and Little King's Story gotta be the most 'professional' LDL games, or at least easiest to recommend in terms of having gameplay that is very well made

I love how this a complete stark contrast to Cyber City, yet kind of carrying a somewhat similar theme with the color of the buildings. Far more googie in design. Kind of reminds me a bit of TV Dinnah's prototype studio where its just a giant CRT on a building, but its still vastly different.

I don't get many chances to talk about this so: the spanish translation for Little King's Story, my favorite videogame, is literally written 100% in its entirety in the voice of a Spanish comedian called Chiquito de la Calzada. This is for no discernible reason and the other translations are normal.
