I have *AWFUL* tendonitis at the base of my thumb (both under and above the main first knuckle). Pain to where I want to saw it off! I bought a nice brace for it (and thankfully, don't type with thumbs despite how fast I type) and it's feeling MUCH better now that it's in Thumb Jail.

I was lamenting that I couldn't remember the meows of now-dead cats & they insisted I adopt new pets- but in the post, I listed they died in 2019, and my profile has new cat names. One person I had to block due to a horribly unempathetic response.

I wish life would quit horking a hairball on me.

I have forgotten what my cat Pickle's meow sounded like. He died in October of 2019 of a sudden blood clot & my heart shattered into a million pieces- his brother followed 4 months later of a broken heart. I...can't remember their meows. I never got a recording. I'm so not okay.

I'm not excited for the 'new' Fires of the Fly. That Baldwin got cast, and NF isn't that much better. Plus, the whole, "we need to find a home," feels really phony. The studios KNOW that the fans want FF to return. The fans do not have to "prove it" to anyone.

I did something I don't believe anyone else ever did: Listened to my cassette Walkman for HOURS on the swing. It was a HIGH set, too. Lots of arm power. Depending on the song (and this wasn't often) I would sometimes jump at the crescendo/high point of said song to land on the soft sand.
