I just updated the Owlstown server from #Rails 7.0 to 8.0. I updated it incrementally going from 7.0 -> 7.1 -> 7.2 -> 8.0. This improves performance, so Owlstown should feel speedier. Also, it prepares Owlstown for new features in the future.

I'm putting together a workshop invite shortlist and it's been eye opening.. Have an online presence - at least current location, contact info, & recent research. Doesn't have to be a full blown academic website (though those are nice). Doubly important when early career.

✨ NEW FEATURE ✨ The Owlstown editor has an improved interface for editing a page. - Edit a block by just clicking on it, instead of clicking on an edit button. - Move up and move down buttons are in a new location. - Delete button is inside the block editor to reduce accidental clicks.
