I have many thoughts about this, one is I can't help but think this is all just shining a light on how games are still being held to wildly different standards than other media like film. I've played very few games like HORSES but watched so many films like it (as a connoisseur of arthouse horror).

I am a little disappointed when the conversation is focused around "it's art not porn!" because the adult games devs get very little support but have been dealing with this for far longer, and they've been sounding the alarm for that deplatforming coming for other games (such as LGBTQ+ content).

All this plus, if you're a sexuality and porn researcher lucky enough to have a transcription tool that doesn't feed AI learning models, your transcripts will still be full of ****, ***********,*****, etc. Truly absurd to censor the word porn (kink, etc.) in a transcription tool.
