Also on a story front both iX games lacking any in-mission dialogue is supremely awful but 1 at least has a big enough cast to leave an impression 2 gets to have the safety net of being so far removed from any relevant timeline it doesn’t matter lmfao

wait i forgot to talk about the thing that made me the maddest about iX2 hard mode. if you're going to give an Assist mode, why doesn't it remove the life function altogether (outdated game design anyways) and why tf does it give you infinite healing instead of just letting you buy upgrades

Oh well. Last to go is GV3 and then my no hit journey really begins.

iX1 and 2 (hard mode too) both finished. I think my opinion on 2's normal mode is more positive, but I still think Hard mode locking you out of ANY of the upgrades is really boring; base Copen just isn't very fun (it has more to do with the Razor Wheel than his Bullit Dash, though they are related)

On my iX1 reply. I remember at the time thinking that Copen sounded so different because of the recast, but having just played GV2 where he has the same VA as here, it becomes obvious that his almost tired delivery in iX1 was the first sign of the plot twist 😢
