The scolding from people to anyone not posting about how we’re all going to die is some weird magical thinking shit. Like on some level you believe that we all need to be constantly posting about how we’re all going to die to prevent that from happening.

Sometimes you just have to spiral, throw up a little, and move on with your day. And sometimes moving on with your day means staring into space for six to eight hours.

I have definitely been getting better at chess, but I do think I’ve sort of plateaued and will only improve if I put real effort into it, and that sounds hard.
