Supposedly, ICE is heading to Maine next. I'm pretty sure Maine is one of the whitest states in the United States so idk who they think they're going to find. Maybe some Canadians illegally crossing the border to work at the one remaining TimHos?

Trading your Nobel Peace Prize for the chance to be installed as a proxy dictator for a fascist regime that just invaded your home country so they can rob your country of its wealth and natural resources. Should be an automatic disqualification and revocation of the prize. Shameful.

This week: I worked 11am-8pm Monday, 5am-8pm Tuesday, and 5am-1030am today. I tired. Cam woke me up from a glorious nap to ask me to do chores with him. Is this grounds for divorce?

Prepper here: 2026 is a great time to get into gardening (except for some reason seeds are stupid expensive this year, from what my farmer friends are telling me) and it's looking advantageous to start your seeds early and plan to transplant early. Just my two cents.

It is absolutely wild to me that I can have the shades down, everything put away, and signs blocking the door nearly two hours after close and people will still have the audacity to walk in like it's 2pm on a Thursday to stroll around the shop.

I'm sure Vanessa Lopez is nice (I have no idea who she is) but
@meghankallman.bsky.social
continues to have my vote. From what I've seen, she and
@jenstewart4ri.bsky.social
seem to embody what I consider to be "common sense politics" so why would I vote otherwise?

Some of my childhood best friends (who still act like we're close) never reached out about the shooting near my shop but I have vendors (some of whom I barely order from) still checking in to let me know that we continue to be in their thoughts as our community recovers.

A Black man was killed by ICE (off duty) in Los Angeles on New Year’s Eve. And like Renée Good, he was an American citizen. But most people have not heard about Keith Porter. I need y’all to realize this. Black people experience this lack of visibility all the time when it comes to being victims.

Week 1. We invaded Venezuela. We killed the ACA subsidies. We destroyed the Kennedy Center. We murdered a woman in cold blood over deportations. We threatened Greenland, now we are offering them $100,000 per person to allow us to take over their country. First 7 days. Can we survive a year of this?

There are many reasons to hate AI: -It takes jobs -It uses water -Younger folks are not developing critical learning skills -RAM is super expensive But it still doesn't detract from how frustrated I am that CanvaAI won't comprehend a VERY simple command & now I have to manually do a photo edit.

Adamantly against our military reducing the pension of any soldier without the process afforded citizens. Targeting individual citizens long after they’ve served is wrong and anti-democratic. Obviously. I don’t know why this needs to be said.

Cute moment: Our part-timer texted the group chat because a guy came for the pallet and to "tell Chloe [he] says hi" with a huge grin on his face so clearly he has a crush on her. It was Chloe's husband. Good to know that years later, he still has a crush on her!
