Hate this mentality. If i love someone, it takes a lot more than a relationship not working out to change that. If i give ya part of my heart I'm not taking it back. It takes some real serious deliberate hurt for me to stop feeling love, but i won't ever act like i never did.

The effect was very doable in Unity using the Poiyomi shader. Set up the alpha using the panning texture from the quoted post and did the tips of the planes using vertex alpha to hide the ends of the texture to give it that taper effect. #vrchat All texture work done in #Blender3d.

hope is distinct from expectation. hopes are abstract, but expectations are more real. it's always good and healthy to have hopes, but expectations you should check. it's easy to conflate the two, because missing them seems to result in the same feeling: disappointment
