Heard from my neighbour just now who I’ve helped with shovelling the snow all winter, and cut the grass during last summer and the start of this summer. That she beat cancer! Super happy for her! Was praying that her situation wouldn’t end bad. Super stoked though that it ended with a happy ending!😄

My issue with these Unity only optimization tools is that it only works and looks decent on some stuff. Not all. Decimate a part to much, and it looks ugly. So just delete those parts, but now the look ur going for aint there. And idk where to even start on blender. Idk how to dissolve edge loops..😭

Also some are like, performance gated instances are so immersive, u can see everyone. Ya, well its just as immersion breaking seeing a ps1 ah lookin fallback.. which u cant choose to override and show..😭

A performance gated instance should be, u spawn into the instance. And if your not wutever rank it is or better, you appear as a fallback. But then if u or a fwnd wanna choose to override it to show each other, u should be allowed to. Let us taste no lag, but then choose if we wanna lag more or not.

its cool to see everyone workin on opti stuff. I did all of mine down to medium/poor stats, except polys, as decimation and trimming in that manner is the last thing i need to learn. there are tools i'm using too, but i need a bit more free time, and im packing to move so i don't have that much

My take on the optimization gated instances is make it poor or better. Medium or better is a stretch, especially for those who dont know how to optimize. Makes the barrier to entry a bit too steep. Also wished we could simply override and show who we want..
