Thank you everyone who came back to Cathedral of Witches to celebrate Samhain and dance at Vampire Renegade! The performance is really good. And you can use it for more than video screens. I swapped out the volumetric fog for a custom render texture into the FogLight for very lightweight environment fog effects.

quick tour of the ambisonics for the cathedral. stereo input gets sent to left and right speakers modeled in virtual space. these are modeled in 36 channels with all of the room bounces and some added reverb. then decoded to a 5.1 mix to the world's four spatialized sources and one 2d sub

Next Friday we celebrate the witches' new year, Samhain. On Samhain we light bonfires and gather in a circle to mark the dying of the year. Spirits of our ancestors gather with us. We look to them for protection in the coming dark of winter and remember work we still have to do as future ancestors.

the entire base world of the cathedral i modeled from scratch. i wanted to figure out how to make my own building kits. also i wanted to have control over poly count and detail that i couldn't get with an existing kit.
