I’ll hold my review for after its over but lvl 93 in Elden Ring and I feel pretty burnt on the repetition. Perhaps a caveat of open world design but the asset reuse is staggering. I had high hopes for Leyndell but it felt like Lothric Castle for dummies. Might take a break and go back to Sekiro.

Playing co-op Souls games really shows us alot about how we approach problem solving. Its all about sharing frustrations and solving puzzles together, overcoming adversity through patience, curiosity and co-strategy. Kind of like a test kitchen for how to handle actual problems together.

Forcing connection never works. If someone can’t meet your energy now, they won’t later. It’s a lonely lesson. Friends help, but they can’t fill that partner-shaped space. Grateful for those who helped me understand my worth. Thankful that the space I kept for him is now filled with joy.

Just removed about 400 people from my VRC friends list. Mostly people that haven't logged on in over a year. Shouldn't be relevant to anyone I've spoken to in the past 6-8 months but incase we're no longer on yellow, its not personal. Just come say hi and remind me when we met!

I used to feel shame for liking men, but I think that was a survival instinct. Many girls in the trans community are lesbians, so it felt safer to blend in. But I define my own intimacy. Liking men isn’t a stereotype or a failure. It doesn’t make me less queer. It’s just the type of woman I am.

The post-Orlando depression was hitting hard yesterday. But I pushed through it. Was in and out of VR last night, taking little breaks to re-adjust my mental. Everything finally clicked when I ran into my bestie at PURR. Just yapping and vibing with the tunes, I felt like I was finally at home.

Looks like its gonna be a "blast nine inch nails and stare out the window" kinda afternoon for this dog. 😑

Sometimes I think about how my favorite job was teaching game development to kids at Carnegie Mellon in the summer of 2006. I’d go back into education but the pay isn’t great. I still think alot about my students, especially the autistic ones. They’re all adults now. I hope they’re living happily.
