Super excited about the new album and how everything is going. Some of my favorite songs I’ve produced on this one. To think that before I started djing in VR, I could barely finish an EP. This will be my 6th full length release since ‘22 and I attribute it to the positive community around me.

We did it. We played raptor house and people got pregnant. Thanks for all the support last night. Couldn't be happier with how the first ENGINE_ROOM turned out. Looking forward to sharing more memories with everyone at PSHQ's new venue.

Added a pair of Soundcore Q30's to my VR setup! So nice to be able to hear proper bass again. Perfect form-factor to fit around the Quest Pro's halo design. OpenSCQ30 provides control over EQ and NC settings without additional bloatware. Battery life exceeds expectations. Not bad for $60 USD.

PSHQ works to bring new DJs into the rotation. But events won’t become better just because more slots are handed out. Curation matters, and “variety” isn’t all about booking new faces. If everyone booked is bending their sound to fit the same lane, you’ll still end up with monotony.

Life is short and fleeting. But we don’t have to be the people we were yesterday. Every single day is an opportunity to change. Even if our physical forms do not vary we are born anew with every sunrise.

Immersion is relative. I can be very immersed in non-realistic worlds. That's the beauty of VR. Hyper-realistic mats/lighting/etc can be immersive, but its no guarantee. Playability matters. Maps that look great in photos sometimes have no regard for basic game mechanics like player-clips on stairs.

I always dreamed I might go to Japan someday but worried about who I'd go with or how I'd get along once I got there. Now that I know friends will be there, I feel safe about it and I'm going to try to make an effort. Definitely means saving and missing out on other things but worth trying I think!
