An article about the D&D demo i ran in Walla Walla last month :)

Yesterday I was invited to the Walla Walla library for D&D Friday from 4 to 7. I sat in on a game as a player, passed out d20s for all & hung out with some DMs afterwards. I love seeing so much love for D&D 🙂

I ran a D&D demo at Walla Walla state penitentiary today. It was really something. I spent most of the time trying not to be choked up. D&D means so much to these guys & it was the most enjoyable demo I've ever run. And one I will never forget.

For some reason I am bone-crushingly depressed today. Maybe it has to do with going back to work after being off for a week but I don't think that's it. Just....don't care. Not looking forward to anything, not excited for anything. Can't start projects, can't finish reading things I want to.

@darklament.bsky.social & I finally went for a walk in Kubota Garden which is down the street. I enjoyed the quiet morning too much to take photos except for this one. We saw crows, squirrels, & a momma duck with her cute ducklings. It was lovely but my allergies are going haywire.
