Over on X, it appears to have been confirmed at full council in Westminster that the “controversial Bayswater Road cycle proposals will not go ahead” as is. Controversial AKA over 2,500 responses and majority support overall and also locally. Going against locals’ wishes then ⬇️

Well folks, never think your vote doesn’t count. In Haringey’s Woodside ward, Green councillor Hayley Jukes lost by 3 votes. If she’d have won, the greens would have had 39 councillors and a majority. Obviously a lot at play but an interesting example! en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2026_Ha...
