Clinical Day with EMS today. Attended 1 pt at beginning of shift & remainder spent caring outside hospital awaiting handover. Challenging for everyone involved but the expert care & dedication of paramedics, doctors, nurses, physios & students was evident. #Multiprofessional #Teamwork 💙

Heading home from our 111Wales site in St Asaph. Been up north for 3 days; proud to have awarded Coronation medals, met front line staff, spent time with my leadership team & held a planning session with the Trust leaders for remote integrated care. Time well spent with incredible colleagues 💙

In an age where independent MSM is under existential threat I am saddened to see potential break up of the #Guardian & #Observer. I am unclear if maintaining two titles remains necessary in today's world and by allowing the sale of one, would be concerned it puts a strategic threat over the other.

A really interesting piece to read having been talking about nurse education, nursing workforce strategy & the role of an RN in a modern healthcare system this am. As a RN (Adult) who trained alongside LD & MH cohorts, our education was specialised to make us fit to practice for those we cared for.

A measure of how weird the world has become....saw this pop up on my lock screen and had to double take and confirm it was an 'on this day' posy, and not a new court ruling in the US! Albeit, it would have been a good one to reinforce!

Great to be leading this initiative in the Welsh Ambulance Service for people presenting to us with #mentalhealth crisis. Mostly we can support remotely but sometimes a face to face response is really important to helping them stay safe and well. ambulance.nhs.wales/news/nhs/202...
