Vhern is definitely neurodivergent though i hesitate to give them an 'official' diagnosis. very very skilled at seeing patterns, though can jump to conclusions because of it. and on the other hand, they tend to miss out on subtext and thus take people at face value often.

99% of the main problems people have with the DT story are because the game was intended to be an alternative starting point and thus needed to be applicable to both completely new WoLs as well as returning ones. even though this plan was abandoned, they didn’t change the story accordingly.
