I just 😩 I’m all wobbly about how odd it is for Loifa at first and how much he comes to enjoy that sort of thing and that the absence of it is louder than Orion’s actual voice when they’re apart. That he can call him and hear him, sure, but he can’t feel his hand on his shoulder or tail on his leg.

Thinking about small, unconscious, touches. A tail brushing the back of another’s leg as they stand next to each other talking to a third party. An ear tucking down beneath a chin when moving closer on transportation. Small adjustments without request or note, fingers fixing a bow or tidying a tie.

My fav part of Loifa in game situations is RPing his responses because in the sage quests when he joins you he’s like “I’ll come along and let you talk” and then interjects anyways like 3 sentences in because his brain has pinged something and so he just speaks.

The way the exarch was probably biting the bars of his enclosure during shb about Orion and Granson but I don’t think Granson really enjoys that sort of thing and Orion respects his boundaries. Which is why Orion/meteor/G’raha is a nice thing for the cats—and meteor, naturally.

Orion having the “grief’s anointed” title has done so much damage in my brain the last 24 hours like yeah that’s just shb-ew for him. Chosen, made higher by grief to act as its vessel, to witness it, to ease its burden. He is all encompassed by this weight in a way he hadn’t been before. Ugh

Orion could never be sated by any amount of cheese I think and Loifa is the allergic one that softly laments not being able to stomach it but enough experience of it curdling his stomach makes it easier to not be quite so sad. 😅 #lorion
