A breath of relief to pick up my tablet again. Drawing some very creamy lungs for a fun commission illustration I want to get done before christmas.

Homework on the first day is sinister. Criminal, even. We endure. I think of elves in the meantime. Faurox at the end of my stick, like a treat I know I won't be able to obtain. But motivation enough, just for a miniscule taste of my muse.

I've had a long day. Tomorrow will be longer (first day of school). S.O.S show me your favorite elf and or elf art. So that I may wake up to elves in the morning.

Five hours of my physical work lost due to a power flicker. -takes off my glasses and leans back in chair to stair up at the ceiling- I'm not mad. I'm just sorely disappointed in myself for not saving this workfile sooner.

Looks like my school moved up the orientation and admissions date so; I won't be able to open any complicated commissions this month. A shame... I'll be backlogged due to school slowing me down. Much apologies but I will try my best to keep up! 💙

I am blessed that every new project starts with a free fall. A collapse into a new well dug by my client's hands, each brick laid and written with their dedicated world building. A cup of tea and a fascination of new characters or new facets of the familiar.

I finished nothing this weekend. But I did have fun 💙

Finally. After fifteen long years; I shall obtain glasses. And with the proper coatings to combat my chronic migraines. I can't begin to express my gratitude for everyone who has supported me. I'm so looking forward to having some relief from eye-related pains. Thank you all so much

I'm torn about what music to enlist for a brief dance with Death. Shall it be a waltz? Pulled to and fro at the draw of the violin's strings, always just a little under foot and unable to match pace. Or do I allow it to settle inwards with the heavy handed pianist leaning all his weight on the keys.

... I am so bad at backgrounds. But imagine. If I could illustrate Faurox's library. An extremely private and personal space filled with all his character themes. All his stowed away uniforms, plants, books, scribe tables, piles of metal he's been starting to collect. The mysterious low lighting..

Faurox has many fixations, vices and interests. Many of them more self-serving than he'd wish to admit. But his most selfish avocation is that of Phytology. Plants have always captured his attention more than the buzzing of flies about their stems or bustling of the behooved who study alongside him.
