If the Lottery System for FFXIV's Housing Market remains in 8.0, we should be allowed to buy tickets for more than one plot, like how we're allowed to buy more than one lottery ticket IRL. If we win a plot, then we should accept one desired plot and refund the rest. #FFXIVHousing

A part of me is coping with Alex's arcade mode that it's just some colossal fuck-up from the localization team, and Capcom has yet to post that multi-paragraph "We fucked up!" press release graphic. It won't stop me from labbing Alex, but it feels unsettling thinking about it.

My static changed their raiding days from Saturday and Sunday to Tuesday and Thursday. So the streaming schedule will be adjusted to accommodate it. Though, I'll have to deal with any "dead time" that could happen if we have to sit in PF for a long time.

Joined a Cloud of Darkness Chaotic group last night for a few quick runs. Hopped on Discord for call-outs ... only to find out the call-outs were in a different language. I guess that's one way to have a crash-course on doing a no-call-outs run. A little scuffy, but it worked out.

I'm still weirded out by Alex's story bits ... but maybe there's something that I have yet to understand with his relationship with Patricia. I thought the two grew up together as siblings (not related by blood), so this looks really awkward. Anyone got a Street Fighter lore book worth sharing?

Queued into The Merchant's Tale, the new variant dungeon, this morning expecting just the typical randoms. Ran into an old face from the past: the leader of my old static. I haven't spoke to this guy in like 2 years! Man, it has been so long.

I got recruited by a third static last night. Some are fresh to the scene will go into M9S for the first time, but have Mythic-level exp from WoW. Who knows how much of that will translate over to FFXIV Raiding. Ran some Roulettes with them and they seem to be a happy bunch. Hope it all goes well.

No M10S clear tonight. Got up to the Arena Split and things went downhill.

3rd day with this static. Progress is moving faster than I anticipated. A welcomed result, but I won't lie that I miss my original static from 2 years ago. Cleared M9S on Thursday for the first time and got up to Watery Grave on M10S yesterday. Assuming all goes well, we should finish M10S tonight.

I think I like how these glamours are turning out. I'll post them on the Eorzea Collection after my raid tonight.

Trying out for my second raid static. The first one tried to force me to play a job class that I have no experience raiding with. The second one has me questioning the deeper characteristics of the raid leader. We'll see how this goes. I feel like I should option-select to my Bridget glamour.

I've been using FFXIV more as a posing tool and making OCs with the glamour system along with other things, than actually playing the game. It's been an amazing and relaxing experience so far. I guess I could write a story about them. #FFXIVScreenshots #FFXIVGlamour #GPOSE

While I was setting up a network switch in my room, I just found out that one of the ports on my router is fried. There's Enabled, Administratively Disabled, and Fucking Fried. Yeah -- looks like I might be in the market for a new router.

It's been 129 days since I've quit drinking energy drinks. Since then, the only drinks I've been consuming have been water, tea, and diet soda. Though I'll admit that even though the soda is "diet," it probably isn't all that healthy to drink.

I played Ed for the entire casual Lobby Night today. I never felt like I was in some flow state while playing this character until tonight. The difference? I swapped costumes and colors. The screen said: "Costume 1, Color 2" My head said: "Gen. Beatrix Colors" and Ed's hair was the face mask.

I ordered some networking equipment to hard-wire some stuff around my room. I guess I can finally play fighting games on my laptop without inadvertently griefing my opponent with a flaky Wi-Fi connection.

73 Zelenia EX clears later and I got my first set of Wings. I have maybe lost count of the number of times I have sung the lyrics to Erutan's cover of the song that plays for this boss encounter. But it was all worth it! I guess I can go back to The Streets now.

I did commentary for @fightrise.com's BLKO Extra Innings yesterday. I feel a lot more confident in doing this than my previous appearances. I felt even more hyped when @jwonggg.bsky.social raided the stream with almost 200 people. I feel grateful for it. Thanks for checking in!

Ran Zelenia EX a couple hours ago. Wiped twice and the party broke up. If Zelenia was a fighting game player and not an MMO raid boss, then at least she would be happy to know that we ran a complete Ranked set.

My drawing tablet works and I picked up CSP 4 today. I'll do "shitty art stream" tomorrow. Maybe I'll eventually remember how to draw. It's been a long since I've done it.

So one of my New Year's Resolutions is to start drawing more often again. I guess all the younger folks like to use the phrase: "Pick up a pencil!"

5 years ago, I drew these two sketches of my OCs, Samza and Mezos. They are part of rap/metal duo called Samzanonymous Mezospotamia. Sometimes, they do original songs. Other times, covers. One of the covers is "Weight of the World" from Nier Automata.

A preview of the next MAJOR revision to the XIV Dye Tools. Yup! A UI/UX update — something a little more Modern and hopefully much easier to use. If everything turns out right, then this should be up in about a week.
